The Agribusiness team at FB Rice works with businesses that are directly engaged in, or directly benefit from, agricultural activities. We have worked with producers of agricultural commodities, primary buyers of agricultural produce, and suppliers of goods and services to farms and the agriculture industry as well as the many research organisations working to improve the productivity and strength of the sector.
Our team has a broad scope of expertise from chemical technologies involved in pesticide and herbicide development, biotech applications for crop production, through to engineering capabilities in the development of mechanical farm equipment.
Dr. Mark Olive, who leads our agribusiness team, has many years experience in industrial R&D and as an attorney in life sciences, and in protecting IP in the agricultural sector. He brings a wealth of experience to the team and clients.
