Many of our patent attorneys in Sydney were delighted today to attend a presentation given by Raymond Tabandeh on recent developments on US practice law.  Raymond is a partner and patent attorney practising in electrical engineering and related areas from the respected west coast US firm, Christie Parker Hale LLP.   Mr Tabandeh's talk dealt with recent developments in the area of false marking of patented products and also how one should approach assessment of infringement of US design patents.  Mr Tabandeh also kindly answered many questions on developments within the USPTO and outlined his views on the best approaches for responding to first and subsequent examination reports from US patent examiners.
