Ingrid joined FB Rice in 2014 and is a Trainee Attorney in the ICT team. She graduated from The University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Hons I) in 2009 and completed a PhD in the field of speech signal information processing in 2014. While obtaining her Bachelor’s degree Ingrid also studied for a year at Purdue University’s Electrical and Computer Engineering department.
Ingrid has conducted research for Nippon Telephone and Telegraph Corporation in Japan alongside world leaders in the Communication Science Laboratories. She also has research experience in directional ocean wave analysis from her time as a Research Associate at the Centre of Water Research at The University of Western Australia. She has presented her research to multidisciplinary audiences at several conferences and laboratories around the world and has also published numerous peer-reviewed articles, including a book chapter.
Ingrid has a strong background in signal processing, statistical mathematics, electronic circuits and communication systems. She is working towards registration as an Australian Patent Attorney and is located in the Sydney office of FB Rice.
