The Australian Government has released the National Science Statement setting out its long term vision and objectives for Australian science as part of the overarching National Innovation and Science Agenda.

Mark is an Associate in our Medical Technology team in Sydney. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics Engineering with First Class Honours and a Masters of Biomedical Engineering both from the University of New South Wales. Mark's thesis explored the biomechanical properties of tissue engineered cartilage in the repair and regeneration of native articular cartilage.

Mark has a range of experience across all areas of mechanical engineering with a particular focus on medical technology and mechatronic systems, including medical imaging, implantable bionics, ophthalmic treatments and devices, surgical devices, medical devices, humanoids, prosthetics, diagnostic devices and industrial robotics.

Prior to joining the IP profession, Mark worked as a business infrastructure engineer for a leading Australian investment bank where was responsible for the development of technological infrastructure for all business units.

Mark is a registered Australian Patent and Trade Mark Attorney and a registered New Zealand Patent Attorney.
