Tony is an associate of the firm and his experience includes preparing and prosecuting patent applications, oppositions and conducting patentability, freedom-to-operate and infringement analyses.
 
Tony graduated from La Trobe University with a BSc (Hons) majoring in genetics and botany and completed a PhD in molecular biology at CSIRO Australian Animal Health Laboratory.
 
Prior to joining FB Rice, he worked as a postdoctoral scientist at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research investigating parasite enzymes as targets for drug discovery and has published several scientific articles.

  • BSc (Hons) majoring in genetics
  • PhD in molecular biology at the CSIRO Australian Animal Health Laboratory. His PhD studies focused on the identification and characterisation of novel vaccine antigens being developed for immunisation of livestock
