Tracey is a Senior Associate in the Software and Information Technology group. Tracey specialises in drafting and prosecuting patents in a range of physics and ICT technologies. She works primarily with a variety of Australian clients including universities, CSIRO, start-up companies and private inventors. Tracey handles large global portfolios and has developed experience in protecting inventions in many jurisdictions outside Australia. Her experience covers areas such as remote sensing instrumentation, neutron radiography, systems for on-line mineral analysis, biometric authentication systems and applications, identity management systems and signal processing techniques.
Tracey graduated from the University of Auckland, New Zealand in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Pure Mathematics and spent a period working for the Horticultural and Food Research Institute of New Zealand. In 2000 Tracey was awarded a Masters of Science degree with 1st class honours in Physics where her research focused on the remote sensing of the lower atmosphere and the development of SODAR instrumentation.
