Social responsibility is not only a policy at FB Rice, it is ingrained into our way of working. Our active engagement with humanitarian and charitable causes is a defining feature of our people, and has been since the firm began.
A commitment to the communities in which FB Rice works is central to our ethos. This influences our approach to clients, staff and suppliers.
FB Rice’s work contributes to improved lives for subsequent generations. With this role comes the responsibility to do the very best possible job for both this and future generations. We firmly believe that the measure of society is how it looks after the less fortunate and we recognise our responsibility to be an active participant in our local communities.
We think that charities and not-for-profits are pillars of our communities. We work hard to create a difference in any way that we can, including activities as varied as being a Cub Scout Leader through to Honorary Solicitor for The Grace Child Care Centre. This is reflected in both the organisations with whom we work and the charities that we support. Most of our pro-bono and philanthropic programs are started by our people, who have great passion and are keen to make a contribution to the communities in which we live and work.
Some recent examples of ways that we're making a difference include:
-
Sydney Cochlear Implant Centre: This is our firm's principal sponsorship. The Sydney Cochlear Implant Centre is a pioneering organisation which works to improve hearing in both adults and children through the use of cochlear implants. To read more about our relationship, please click here.
