Adrian Doumani is a trainee patent attorney in the Melbourne Engineering team. He holds a Bachelor of Mechatronics Engineering and Bachelor of Arts from Monash University. Whilst obtaining his Bachelors in Mechatronics Engineering, Adrian gained experience in a wide variety of technology areas including computer software, mechanical and electrical engineering. His broad knowledge and skills give Adrian a unique perspective when handling clients’ intellectual property matters.
In his previous role as an Engineering Technical Specialist, Adrian developed extensive experience in preparing and conducting freedom-to-operate, novelty, and landscape searches throughout a broad spectrum of technical areas. His experience as a foreign filings clerk at a national IP firm coupled with his work at a multinational company has given Adrian a broad global perspective on IP protection. This global perspective has enabled Adrian to develop a keen interest in effectively protecting local and international clients’ IP rights.
Adrian is excited to be a part of the FB Rice team and apply his knowledge, interest and experience in intellectual property to clients new and existing.
