
Kevin Lam joins FB Rice as a trainee patent attorney in the Sydney Computer and Electrical Sciences ICT group. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Sydney and has received a graduate certificate in Data Science.
Kevin has completed two research scholarships at the University of Sydney on optical and astrophysics. The first involving a simulation of electromagnetic modes in a nanoscale optical fibre using matlab, and the second a simulation of how the centre of our galaxy appears through the eyes of the upcoming James Webb Space Telescope. Both of these academic research scholarship programs have contributed to his academic background in physics, mathematics and data science.
Kevin is looking forward to starting his career in intellectual property law and being a valuable addition to the FB Rice team.
