
Niraj Mahraur is a patent attorney in the Melbourne engineering group and has a decade of experience working and studying in the field of computer engineering.
Following completion of his Bachelor of Computer Engineering at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, Niraj strengthened his skill set by completing a law degree at Melbourne Law School.
Niraj was a founding member of the Science and Technology Law Association at Melbourne Law School. This role entailed drafting submissions to the university to secure funding, preparing detailed event plans and social events with stakeholders in the law and technology industry, and chairing public panel discussions. Niraj also volunteered as a Paralegal at the Mental Health Legal Centre in Melbourne, taking part in their outreach program. This role provided significant insight into identifying and better understanding the specific legal needs of his clients.
Niraj’s experience has also seen him work as an E-Commerce Analyst and a Database Engineer. As an analyst, he enabled data driven decision-making, automation of operations, demand forecasting, and financial reporting by developing a central data store for the business. Through his work as a database engineer at a large bank in Singapore, Niraj was recognised with the "Creative Champion” award for his technical design and implementation of a Configuration Management Database for the firm.
With Niraj’s strong background in computer engineering, he is looking forward to engaging with new and existing clients in this sector.
