
Will Morgan is a senior associate in our Sydney Medical Technology team. He specialises in analogue and digital electronics, communications technology, semiconductor device design, software, user interfaces, and medical technology. He also has substantial experience in the prosecution of registered designs around the world. As a homebrewer, Will has a keen interest in brewing and distilling technologies.
Will works closely with his clients to provide high quality service in the protection of their intellectual property assets, with a strong focus on understanding his clients’ business and goals.
Will is also qualified to act before the UK Intellectual Property Office and the European Patent Office. Before joining FB Rice in 2015, he worked in the UK for a leading IP firm where he assisted clients in drafting and prosecuting patents in the fields of electronics, physics and computing, as well as conducting oppositions before the European Patent Office.
Will obtained a first class Masters in Electronic Engineering from the University of Southampton where he conducted extensive research into emerging transistor technologies and developed a novel heterojunction bipolar transistor (HBT), for which he was awarded the prize for best final year project.
