Strategising your IP endgame

FB Rice is involved with the IPBC Australasia 2023 session titled “Strategising your IP endgame” from 9.30am to 10:30am. Today‘s IP professionals need to have a long-term vision when it comes to the positive impact that their activities can have on business performance. This should be accompanied by a comprehensive understanding of their operating environment and what the endgame for the business is.

Brett Lunn will be moderating the session, along with a panel of IP experts, including: Christine Emmanuel-Donnelly (Non-Executive Director at PolyNovo and Medical Developments International), David Lambourne (Head of Intellectual Property at Morgan Advanced Materials) and Matt Gallagher (General Counsel at Apiam Animal Health Limited).

The session will cover the following:

  • Macro-economic factors and how to manage their impact on strategy
  • IP considerations in various exit strategies: sell, merge & IPO
  • Measuring the effectiveness of IP strategies against business goals
