Ian Rourke is a partner in our Melbourne biotechnology team. He prepares and prosecutes patent applications internationally, evaluates the external patent landscape and intellectual property positions of competitors and conducts complex patent invalidity, infringement, due diligence and freedom-to-operate analyses. Ian has a substantial Australian client base including universities, research institutes, listed companies, and start-up companies. Ian was recognised in the IAM Global Leaders list for 2023.
|Karin Innes is a partner in our Melbourne biotechnology team. With over 15 years’ experience, she assists a broad range of clients in all facets of academia and industry with patent procurement and defence both locally and internationally through her close network of foreign associate contacts. Karin has been endorsed in the IAM Prosecution recommended list each year since 2020.|
Madeleine Kelly is a partner in our Melbourne engineering team. Her practice includes providing strategic advice and building and managing IP portfolios in areas of technology including fintech, AI, electronics, telecommunications, medical devices and e-health. Madeleine was recognised in the IAM Global Leaders list for 2022.
