After many months of delay, the Raising the Bar Bill is finally before the House of Representatives and we are conscious that it is likely to be passed any day now.
After many months of delay, the Raising the Bar Bill is finally before the House of Representatives and we are conscious that it is likely to be passed any day now.
It will be to the benefit of all IP practitioners to finally have some certainty around the implementation of the provisions of the Bill. While some provisions will commence immediately, others will come into effect in the 12 months period after the Bill is passed, so there will be time to understand and adapt to the new requirements.
