Andrew Counsell is an associate in our Sydney chemistry team.
Andrew specialises in a variety of areas across the chemical sciences and biotechnology, with particular expertise in organic synthesis and methodology, medicinal chemistry, bioconjugation chemistry, biotherapeutics including antibody-drug conjugates, and materials including polymers for a range of applications.
In 2025, Andrew was awarded the Edward Waters Prize by the Institute of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys of Australia (IPTA), a prestigious honour recognising exceptional academic excellence and strong potential to contribute to the profession.
