Andrew completed a Bachelor of Science (Advanced) (Honours) and a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Sydney. Prior to commencing training as a patent attorney at FB Rice, Andrew undertook a PhD in Chemistry at the University of Cambridge, UK during which he held a Krishnan-Ang Studentship awarded by Trinity College. His academic research focused on a wide variety of topics relating to organic synthesis and methodology, antibody-drug conjugates, and emerging biotherapeutic technologies, and has been published in a number of highly respected peer-reviewed scientific journals.
Amidst his studies, Andrew was a publishing editor at the Royal Society of Chemistry based in Cambridge, UK. He gained invaluable experience in the communication of novel scientific research spanning the breadth of the chemical sciences through his work on multiple high impact academic journals including Energy & Environmental Science, and Green Chemistry.
Andrew's cross-disciplinary technical experience and communication expertise positions him well to assist clients in a range of sectors within the life sciences.
