Doing our part to shine some light
Members of our Melbourne team recently took part in the Solar Light Challenge, a WWF-Australia initiative aimed to “shine a light on climate change”.
The kits were delivered unassembled, allowing us to engage in a hands-on activity. Once the solar light kits were assembled, they were sent to schools, children and families living in remote areas of Papua New Guinea. These solar lights, which can be charged by simply leaving them out in the sun, provide many hours of light and will replace carbon-intensive, toxic kerosene lamps.
