James Coburn

James holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering as well as a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Actuarial Studies from Monash University.

Prior to joining our firm, James was a network engineering specialist at Australia’s largest telecommunications company working with both new and legacy network technology and systems. He worked on network deployment programs, automation programs and lifecycle management activities within a workgroup that delivered world firsts and a patent application.

James is eager to apply his technical background and IP knowledge to assist current and future clients’ IP matters.

James is a registered Australian and New Zealand patent attorney.
