A Registered Australian and New Zealand Patent Attorney specialising in mechanical engineering and registered designs, Andrea is also a Chartered UK and Qualified European Patent Attorney. Her knowledge and experience covers a wide variety of areas including oil and gas, medical devices, Internet of Things, mining equipment, aeronautical and automotive applications and components, renewable energy, gas turbine engines, ventilation and filtration devices, white goods and consumer products.  

She holds a Bachelor of Engineering with First Class Honours in Mechanical Engineering, specialising in fluid mechanics and a PhD in Ground Effect Aerodynamics from England’s Southampton University. Her PhD research involved designing and testing a wind tunnel test model in conjunction with the British American Formula 1 team.
