Manuel Schmidt

Manuel has drafted many patent applications in all areas of computer related technology, including blockchain, bioinformatics, quantum physics, algorithms and agriculture technology. The prosecution of his patent cases often includes interviews and hearings with Patent Offices around the world in technically complex cases.

Clients asking for Manuel’s expertise include Australia’s top universities and research organisations as well as startups and large corporates.

The Technische Universität München (TUM) awarded him a PhD for his research in microelectronics engineering as well as a degree in business planning and technology-driven start-up management at the Center for Digital Technology and Management (CDTM). He worked as an Assistant Professor managing both research and education projects where he also taught at the German Institute for Science and Technology in Singapore.
